## How we set up your network

### Firewall

- Firmware kept up to date, with critical fixes applied quickly
- Admin access only from our management tools, never open to the internet
- Web filtering to block known malicious and unwanted sites
- Settings backed up, so a failed firewall can be replaced the same day
- Logs kept and reviewed when something looks wrong

### Wi-Fi

- Staff Wi-Fi separate from guest Wi-Fi
- Guest Wi-Fi can't reach your computers, printers or files
- Modern encryption (WPA3 where your devices support it)
- Staff Wi-Fi passwords changed when people leave, or sign-in with work accounts

### Network

- Phones, cameras, printers and computers kept on separate networks
- Unused ports switched off
- Switches and access points updated and monitored
- A simple diagram of your network, kept current

### Remote access

- Multi-factor sign-in on every remote connection
- Zero-trust access with Microsoft Entra Private Access or Cloudflare, where it suits
- Each person only reaches the systems they need

## Moving office or opening a new site?

We'll plan it all: the internet connection, cabling, Wi-Fi, phones and meeting rooms, ordered early enough to be working on day one. Data and phone cabling is done by registered cablers, as Australian law requires.
